Step by Step – Towards a Living Earth – Permaculture Training

Pas à Pas is much more than a vegetable garden — it is a living, breathing ecosystem where experimentation, sustainability, and education come together to shape a new vision of urban agriculture. Designed as an autonomous, resilient, and eco-responsible space, Pas à Pas demonstrates how nature and human ingenuity can coexist harmoniously, even in the heart of the city.

Located on a 600 m² site in constant evolution, Pas à Pas is home to more than 500 different plant species that thrive alongside a rich variety of life: a chicken coop, fish ponds, beehives, and a greenhouse. The project also integrates eco-construction, a green roof, and renewable energy systems, proving that sustainability can be achieved on a local, manageable scale. Remarkably, this microfarm produces over 400 kilograms of fruits and vegetables each year, most of which grow on just 120 m² — a striking example of how small-space cultivation can yield abundant results.

Beyond food production, Pas à Pas is also an educational hub. We offer training courses in permaculture and agroecology, practical workshops, and support for schools wishing to integrate environmental awareness into their curricula. Our educational book and online content make our knowledge accessible to everyone who dreams of growing food responsibly and creatively.

What truly makes Pas à Pas unique is its focus on urban agriculture in limited spaces, constantly testing new techniques — from rooftop gardens and aquaponics systems (combining fish and plants) to innovative beehive models that support pollinator diversity. Each experiment brings us closer to a future where cities are greener, more resilient, and more self-sufficient.
