SKF ELIXER

SKF Elixer India Private Limited has earned a solid reputation as a leader in high-end paddy processing. They build top-of-the-line commercial purifiers and push the envelope with advanced wastewater management systems, thanks to their modern treatment plants. For over thirty years, they’ve worked to make daily life better—healthier grains, cleaner water, and a safer world.
It all started back in 1987, when Dr. G. Ramakrishna Achar founded the company. Things were pretty modest then—a rented shed in Bannadka, a quiet village near Moodabidri, Mangalore, and just Rs. 25,000 to get going. Driven by Dr. Achar’s clear vision and relentless energy, SKF Elixer steadily grew from those humble beginnings. Now, they’re headquartered in Jain Kashi, Moodabidri, with a state-of-the-art manufacturing setup.
Their facilities are impressive. We’re talking high-end CNC laser cutting machines, modern bending and MIG welding equipment, lathes, and a skilled engineering team that serves customers all over the world. Their growth shows in the numbers: annual turnover sits around Rs. 2000 million, and they’ve invested about Rs. 500 million in infrastructure.
SKF Elixer also broke new ground in India’s rice milling scene. They were the first to bring in stainless steel paddy processing plants—systems built to handle pretty much any type of paddy, anywhere, and turn out consistently high-quality rice. They even designed and built India’s first 1000 ton-per-day Paddy Boiler-cum-Drier plant. With more than 5,000 installations across India and abroad, millers and industry pros see SKF Elixer as a genuine global leader in paddy processing technology.
