Filedaria was founded to address the unique challenges faced by women with naturally curly and Afro-textured hair, offering specialized care in an industry where such expertise is often overlooked. Too often, women with textured hair struggle to find salons equipped with the right skills and knowledge, but at Filedaria, this is our passion and purpose. Our founder received formal training in the Dominican Republic, where beauty schools emphasize servicing all hair types due to the country’s richly diverse population. This inclusive philosophy has become the foundation of our approach, and we proudly pass this knowledge on to each stylist in our salon. To ensure our clients always receive the highest level of care, our team continually updates their skills by attending top industry events and training programs, including the Bronner Brothers International Beauty Show in Atlanta and the International Beauty Show (IBS) in New York. At Filedaria, we combine technical expertise with a warm, welcoming environment, creating a salon experience that is both professional and relaxing.
